Children play and interact in an immersive environment that gives them opportunities to learn and use Mandarin Chinese. Our Mandarin Munchkins program is a 60-minute curriculum for children aged eighteen months to two and a half years old that develops their social, cognitive, emotional, language, as well as fine and gross motor skills. All activities are conducted in Mandarin Chinese by educators experienced in early childhood development.
Children are provided opportunities to be introduced to the world and to people beyond the circle of their own families and to develop important skills—such as following instructions, problem solving, task completion, self-expression, and group interaction—preparing them for a successful transition into a formal school setting. Children engage in an interactive learning environment through play, thematic games, hands-on activities, music, movement, and storytelling. The program enables children to develop an early foundation in bilingual and bi-cultural competence during a crucial period in language development.
Please note:
This immersive Mandarin class is designed for both parents/caregivers and their children. Participants explore childhood themes, learn basic phrases, and gain practical conversational skills through music and movement. Activities foster children’s development of fine motor skills, build self-confidence, and prepare children to participate in group activities and properly interact with others. Our experienced teachers are native Mandarin speakers with extensive training in early childhood education.
