Responsibilities
Reporting to the CFO and Assistant Director of Operations, the Operations Coordinator will be integral to the administration of China Institute, ensuring smooth daily operations, and supporting the coordination of programs and events.
- Support Assistant Director of Operations with logistics, and event/program setup.
- Oversee daily office operations and promptly address any arising issues.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of operational policies, procedures, and guidelines, offering recommendations to improve efficiency and strengthen organizational protocols.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related matters, addressing any operational concerns.
- Coordinate with IT support and external vendors to resolve technical issues promptly.
- Maintain relationships with external facility and office service providers, ensuring the office remains clean, functional, and well-maintained.
- Perform other assignments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Quick and effective in addressing and resolving issues related to building operations and occupant needs.
- Excellent communication skills; able to work well with all levels of management, staff, clients, and vendors.
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and oversee multiple responsibilities and projects.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
- Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Knowledge of Chinese (reading and writing) is a plus.
